Our team gets to play in a state playoff tonight and so a surprise to us, Melody gets to play in one more game before they go to California. They can all wear costumes, so she will be playing the Conga Drum as “The Fairy Godmother”.

Autumn and Jenn have planned a Halloween Party tonight as well, so we are in for a very fun evening and it is Jeff’s birthday on Sunday! This will be the first birthday he has celebrated at home for a very long time. Wow, it seems only yesterday we were off on our Dawson, Minn adventure.

In several of my classes, we have listened to “Hall of the Mountain King” while we have walked and then run to the beat of the music while looking for the Troll’s Cave… it has actually been a very fun experience and I can say that I have exercised this week!

Well I best hurry and get ready for our little choir to sing at the beginning of the Harvest parade. It will be interesting. I have about 5 dedicated little choir members who sing on one note... a bit of a challenge but it will all be ok.

Happy Day everyone and be safe. Love, Mom/Grandma/Brenda
